About Us
Larry Luongo was born and raised in South Jersey, attending local schools in Voorhees and Cherry Hill. He graduated from Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees in 1976. Larry attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Varsity Lacrosse Team before transferring to Rutgers University's Camden College of Arts and Sciences.
He graduated from Rutgers University's Camden College of Arts and Sciences in 1981 with a BA in accounting, prior to attending Law School at Rutgers. As a Rutgers undergrad, Larry was a Dean’s List Student, graduating in the upper 5% of his class with High Honors. He earned multiple awards, including a Price Waterhouse Accounting Section Award, and was a member of the distinguished Athenaeum Honor Society.
Upon graduation from Rutgers Camden, Larry enrolled in Rutgers School of Law-Camden, graduating in 1984. Larry began his legal career serving a Clerkship with the Honorable I.V. DiMartino, AJSC, with the Superior Court of New Jersey, in Camden. During his clerkship he sat for and passed the New jersey Bar Exam in 1985. After his clerkship he practiced locally in Haddonfield and Westmont, with the former firm of Joseph Sandone and Elliot Stomel from 1985 to 1991. At Sandone and Stomel, Larry handled a wide variety of legal cases, learning to hone his skills as an accomplished real estate and land use attorney. He also handled matters involving municipal court/traffic cases, litigation, personal injury cases, and family law. Larry also had the opportunity to serve as both a Municipal Prosecutor and Public Defender, learning to work both sides of the fence and picking up valuable experience he would later put to use in representing his clients in Municipal Court.
In July 1991, Larry opened the doors on his own law practice in Cherry Hill. Over the last several years he has had offices in Voorhees and Barrington, most recently relocating his office to Atco, New Jersey. For 30 years Larry has been diligently representing regular people with their personal and small business needs. He has taken on and beaten the big insurance companies. He has tirelessly battled against large public utilities to enforce and preserve his clients’ rights. He has held various municipal positions including municipal prosecutor, public defender, and zoning board attorney. He is well versed in many areas of the law. Detail oriented and trustworthy, Larry has served hundreds of well satisfied clients, navigating their way through the complex web of legal matters. He has become a trusted advisor to small businesses and families who are planning for the future.
